Our God the Rock Bible Reading Summary Week 4

Hey there Friends! I’ve already received a couple emails from you asking for the November Bible reading challenge! Let’s wrap up the Our God the Rock Bible reading summary week 4 and get it posted, then I’ll release the November challenge, which I know you’re going to love.  Our God the Rock has met me right where I’m at this month. I know it seems I say that every month, but isn’t it so cool how God uses His Word in such a unique way to bless our hearts in the moment? Check out this week’s summary and I’ll come back after tomorrow and add the last passage in for the month.

Psalm 90:1-12

Before your painful past. Beneath your pressing present. Beyond your fearful future. No matter your time span or difficult issue, he is God from everlasting to everlasting! Take that and make it a super Saturday! #ourGodtheRock#biblereading

Isaiah 26:1-8

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. v3 Trust is the foundation of any relationship. As we learn to trust him more on Monday, may we cherish the fact that #ourGodtheRock is worthy of our trust. #biblereading

Psalm 71:1-8

Not occasionally. Not once in a great while. No, the rock to which we continually come. Oh the strength that results in our constant reliance on the Lord to fulfill his promises! Have a terrific Tuesday thinking on that. #ourGodtheRock#biblereading

Isaiah 44:6-8

Immediately the childhood Sunday School song flooded my mind this morning when I read today’s#ourGodtheRock #biblereading passage. The foolish man built his house upon the sand and the rain came tumbling down. The floods came up and the house on the sand fell flat. But the wise man? His house didn’t budge. That storm was thrashing and lashing but the house on the Rock stood firm. Perhaps if we catch ourselves floundering through the storms of today’s times and moments, we should ask “Is my hope resting on the Rock?”

Hebrews 6:16-20

It is impossible for God to lie. And so this impossibility should anchor our souls. So thankful for this Word today!#ourGodtheRock #biblereading

1 Cor. 10:1-4

The children of Israel wandered about in the desert, in desperate need of hydration. They needed water or they would die. In our same desperation, oh how we need Christ, the Rock. May your Friday be overflowing with the water that never runs dry. #ourGodtheRock #biblereading

Romans 1:16-20

Since the creation of the world, our God has revealed Himself. As the One who never changes and is ever present. Show us your glory today, Jesus. May our eyes be open to see your work, making your invisible attributes clearly visible to us. Would be a great day to take a walk outside and drink in his power and beauty! Psalm 115:1-9

God is not a minimalist. Our God does not operate on if’s or maybe’s. He doesn’t work on whims. He does ALL that he pleases. Not some. Not a little. Not half. Not even 99.5%. Our God completes every single act he chooses. He is not just a finisher. He is THE Finisher!!! Happy Sunday! #ourGodtheRock #biblereading
