Matthew 21:19-22

Whatever you ask in prayer. This morning I pondered the potential list of gifts from God I never received. Was my faith not big enough to ask? Is my faith not big enough to ask? And so I ask this morning: Lord, increase my faith.

Hebrews 6:1-3

Were you a bit challenged by today's #biblereading passage? The author of Hebrews 6:1-3 is encouraging his readers to dig deeper than accepting salvation by faith and begin to embrace a full faith- believing and trusting God with every fiber of their being. Sounds like#genuinefaith , doesn't it?

Proverbs 3:1-6

Many of us know and love Proverbs 3:5&6. I personally cherish those two verses. But I sometimes forget how the trust of verses 5&6 is grown. Through love and faithfulness. May you see reminders of his love and faithfulness in all today's tasks and return it back to him in praise!

Matthew 9:1-8

This was the reason Jesus performed the miracle. So his healing, redeeming power could be embraced. I have to ponder this morning if I might be more focused on sin and less on the glorious forgiveness of sin. If maybe, like his critics in today's passage, I am missing the point of the miracle. To know him.

Matthew 9:18-26

Take heart. Your faith contains more power than you have ever dreamed because greater is he who lives in you than he who lives in the world.

Matthew 9:27-31

Jesus asked the two blind men if they believed he could heal them before he performed the miracle. What miracle do you need in your life right now? Are you believing God to work it according to his plan? Pondering this still!

  1. Hello Rachel,

I am so struggling with the last one. I know God does everything according to His will and plans.

My ex, whom I left because I left because it was a terrible destructive relationship and God was not in it as I chose to walk my own path when I met this man. He was arrested last week, his friend the co-accused confessed. I prayed that God use the situation for His glory and to draw my ex to true repentance and salvation. I believed he should not be released on bail as he always walks away from crime with no consequence. Yet released he was and not saved.

I need to let go of wanting to understand why otherwise my faith in Him being my all powrful Father will diminish and without that faith and hope for my life I have nothing.
