bible reading challenge day 116

Hey there Friends! Another week and Friday is here; time to cheer on the Bible Reading Challenge readers! So I have to ask you to have patience with me on this very first Bible Reading Challenge video. A. This was the first take. B. I have a zillion uhs. Sorry. C. I did brush my hair and teeth and put lip gloss on. The least I could do after a long day. D. The noise you hear in the background is the dishwasher. All that said, be sure to leave a comment to stay encouraged!

(PS: If you can’t see the video from email, you need to click over to the blog. Sorry for the inconvenience.)

I wanted to be sure that you are aware of this printable I created for my article at Tommy Nelson last week. The article explained “How To Create A Sunshine Box of Encouragement.”  I hope you’ll stop over there and check out the article AND here is the link to the free .pdf to help you get going. This is the label only; there is also a lemon bars recipe and my favorite part, a list of encouraging Bible verses. You could also click on the graphic below to get all three:

And I have a free printable for you today for the well-loved “12 Bible Verses for When You Feel Like Giving Up.” This printable is nothing fancy, but all the verses fit cleanly on the page and it is easier to print than the post. So go for it- perfect for the fridge or your cubicle or wherever you need it to remember that giving up is not an option.

One more thing, my real life friend, Stacy Williams, has written a great edevotional about her journey through chronic pain. I know Stacy personally and we’ve completed Bible studies together for the last few years. She is a prayer warrior and champion! I hope you’ll check out her new ebook, “21 Days to Finding Purpose in Pain

Have a great weekend!

Rachel! Thank you for the video. I was remembering your dishwasher episode. Smiled at the joyful sounds of swishing :-)). (I couldn’t really tell it was a dishwasher so thanks for the smile. )
Sending you a “YOU GO GIRLFRIEND” for Saturday. I’m sure your family is so proud of you.
Psalm 37:3 & 4 has long been so meaningful to me. I love verbs; action words: Trust, Dwell, and Delight. Once studied Dwell: abide, continue, remain, rest; and, Delight: to be soft or pliable. … Think on these things! Amen!

    1. oh yes! Joyful swishing is soo much better than the sound of water bursting out from under the kitchen sink! 😉 Amen Friend. Thank you!

Noticed this morning that all of the firstborn children were to be dedicated to God, especially the boys. That made me think about Jesus being the firstborn of Mary. Interesting point.
