Summer, summer, how it passes so quickly! I’m doing my very best to search and savor beauty this month and like any of you, some times have been easier than others. But learning to see beauty for what it truly is has been the biggest lesson for me this month so far. Let’s take a peek at this week’s summary verses, shall we?
1 Peter 1:20-25
1 Peter 2:1-9
“But now.” Remembering what we once were is important so that we realize the here and now. You’re not who you used to be. I’m not who I used to be. All because God’s mercy. And to think it’s new every morning? That’s #everythingbeautiful! #biblereading
When we question the details of God’s work, namely ourselves, then we are failing to appreciate the beauty of God’s work. Trust. Obey. Repeat. It’s a beautiful thing! #everythingbeautiful #biblereading
Last week the wind kicked up on the beach just before a storm and one of my younger girls became very afraid. To the point that I had to take her inside right away. When fear grips your heart, he will be your shelter from the storm. Run inside; he loves you beyond measure.#everythingbeautiful #biblereading
