Philippians 1:1-11

As Paul wrote with confidence to the Philippian church, he reminded them that Christ is the one who completes the work. It's a beautiful reminder we can still use today to know that we are#confidentinhim ! #biblereading

Ephesians 2:1-7

Redemption- a word that means not only bought back, but also restored and renewed. He redeems our lives for the purpose of a new work, an improved life, and a renovated heart. He reconstructs and rebuilds. Your old self is gone and so is the guilt and shame of the past. You are worthy through HIS redemptive power! Now go forward#confidentinhim ! #preachingtomyself#biblereading

1 Peter 2:1-10

Yes, God created you and his number one goal is to bring you back into a perfect relationship with him. He loves you wildly with an everlasting love. But what you believe about your personal value should be rooted in this verse. Who you were without the mercy of God is not who you are now. The One who poured out his mercy for you desires for you to know how precious you are in his sight. Live Monday loving mercy!#confidentinhim#biblereading

If God blots out our sins and doesn't remember them anymore, then perhaps we should stop beating ourselves up with the past, right? #confidentinhim#biblereading God doesn't define our future by the past. #onemorestep

  2. Rachel, thank you so much for these summaries each week. Even though I pray for guidance and understanding, (your prayer before reading the bible)sometimes I don’t understand why you picked a certain scripture passage. For example Tuesday’s reading, Isaiah 43:22-28. verse 25 was the only one I did understand and loved. After reading you what you wrote today, I now see what this passage says about confidence in Christ.
I want you to know you are a blessing and I love your encouraging heart. I look forward each week to going back and seeing your review.
I write the scriptures in a journal, I think I learn that way and it’s just plain old decipline for me.
    In Christ Grace,
