bible reading challenge day 39

Doesn’t “Children’s Books Giveaway of Love and Peace” have a much better ring to it than “On War and Peace?” Yep, I thought so too.

It’s Friday, Bible Challenge Readers! We made it through another week and God has blessed me so richly through your comments this week. Just one example:

From Renee: I am currently reading through the Bible for the first time and I can not tell you how much better my day is by just reading His word first thing in the morning. If Job can handle all that was thrown at him, I can surely whether this storm! (emphasis mine)

So let’s be sure to check in this week to encourage one another AND to make it even more fun, I have the cutest Bible ever and 5 wonderful children’s books giveaway today from my friends at Tommy Nelson! Are they cool or what?

One awesome reader is going to win the Bible and all 5 of these books in one fabulous giveaway!

“Smack Dab in the Middle of God’s Love” is a beautifully illustrated book for which you can find a full review here.

My kiddos love to read “An I Love You Prayer” any time of year, but the heart shape of the book makes it a wonderful selection for Valentine’s Day.  You can find the full review here.

“Shine Your Light devotional” by Sheila Walsh is so precious and I’m excited that someone is going to have the privilege of teaching their child how to let their light for Jesus shine on a daily basis through the use of this book.

This week I gave away a copy of “I Love You to God and Back” so you can find the full review here.  This book is super sweet and perfect for cuddle time while teaching your children how to pray.

The Cupcake Bible is perfect for that sweet thing of a girlie girl who wants more goodness from God’s Word. With 24 personalization pages, this book will win the heart of any girl for sure. I’m guessing if you add some chocolate to this gift- you’ll win her sweet heart AND her sweet tooth. It would work for me. 🙂

“I Love You No Matter What” – this precious take on the story of the prodigal son reassures children that Mom and Dad will always be there no matter what. There is no getting away from love. I can’t tell you how much I love this book. Such an important concept for children to know that they are always, always loved.

So there you have it! AND the awesome code Tommy Nelson gave us for a 30% discount is still good through 2/15! Woohoo! Click here to begin your selections then use the code word :LOVE to receive 30% off your shopping cart.

In the mean time, enter to win AND Bible Challenge readers, be sure to tell us how you’re doing! May your weekend be blessed!

One thing I have taught children in the school I work at is to do finger hugs. We cross our fingers and wave them at each other, and this is our special way to say hello, I love you, or I’m thinking about you without getting in trouble or disrupting class. I get all sorts of finger hugs/love each day at work, and this really makes my day!
