Today’s post is a project I’ve been working on for some time. Women’s Bible studies are not always easy to research. You can focus on finding the study by author, by book of the Bible, by topic, or by Bible character. Also, there are many different types of studies. Book studies with guides. DVD studies with books and guides, no homework studies,  and I’ve probably missed a few. Regardless, as you can see, there is a ton of variety in curriculum and teaching styles.

I think sometimes God calls people to study the Word and then share what they’ve learned with others, only for those called-out ones to think “But Lord, this has already been done.” Can I just tell you after all the research I’ve been doing lately, just in case you haven’t figured it out- the Bible is inexhaustible. Truly, it is. And we’ve barely scratched the surface of teaching the Bible.  Just look at this list of topics and how much more God has to teach us through his word?

So today I’m excited to unfold this list of Women’s Bible studies by topic and I want you to help me out. You’ve probably completed a Bible study that was your favorite topic or one that I missed on this list that you loved and if you can leave a  comment, then we’ll all know about it, right? Be sure that your suggestion is more than a book in that it includes a Bible study guide, whether within the book or an additional book. Sound good?

Also, I’m excited to introduce a new page to the site: Bible Study Directory. It’s the perfect “Let’s figure out what Bible study God is leading us to and we’re looking for” beginning. And we’ll be adding to it. Just look at all those topics that need to be filled! So keep me posted on your favorites and enjoy!

  1. Stephanie Geyer says:

I have completed on my own and also led Kay Arthur’s study on dealing with grief: “Lord, Heal My Hurts”. It is an older study, but covers a subject that is always just around the corner for everyone. I lost a child 29 years ago; and God used this study to help heal me.
    I recommend it highly.

  2. I have done a few of these already through Proverbs31.org. Unglued, Confident Heart, Let it Go, and Made to Crave. awesome. can’t speak enough of them. each one has changed my life and my walk with God. there are some I have purchased or received the books and haven’t had the chance to read them. so I am looking into those.

  3. One of my go-to books is “A Woman Who Trusts God: Finding the Peace You Long For” by Debbie Alsdorf. It is based on the book of Phillipians and can be done as a 5-lesson study using the questions in the back of the book. I would include it under Trust and Peace.

  4. Thank You 🙂 I am always trying to find a good list of studies. I have participated in several with other bloggers and/or e-mail groups and those are wonderful. This will be nice when I am needing a study for a particular topic or if I am not currently participating in a group study. Your work is blessed, thank you 🙂

  5. Rachel, what a great idea and great start to this list! I did the study by Kelly Latta with her study guide/workbook – “Tested by Fire”. Not sure what category that fits in…and also Stressed Less Living by Tracie Miles. Thank you so much for making things easier for all of us to stay in God’s Word! God bless!
