Top o’ the morning to ya on this Monday! Ok, if you’ve been around here much, you know that I’m a big fan of Proverbs 27:14:

Whoever blesses his neighbor with a loud voice,
rising early in the morning, will be counted as cursing.

In other words, I’m not really a huge morning person and the wisest man who ever lived, Solomon, agrees- loud voices and early mornings don’t pair well. 🙂

But- today I’m whispering loudly that I am SO EXCITED to present this new Bible storybook and app your kids will love- the Big Picture Interactive Bible Storybook- Connecting Christ Throughout God’s Story.

Viewing the Bible as a child can often appear chopped up into stories. And the stories are wonderful and beautiful and important. But even as adults, our view can be distorted regarding what the Bible is really all about- the Gospel.  The fine folks at B&H Kids have developed two awesome resources featuring the Gospel Project for Kids.

The first one is a big picture book titled “The Big Picture of What God Has Always Wanted.”

I just love this book because it gives an overview of how God’s redemption plan is projected throughout the entire Bible.  The book emphasizes that God has always wanted a relationship with His children. The storyline approach to sharing the Gospel is perfect for children and really, anyone who wants to know more about the Bible.

One of the special features of this book is the glossary of terms in the back. The glossary is designed to assist a parent or teacher in explaining spiritual terms on a child’s level. For instance, the term “church” usually depicts a building in the mind of a child. So it’s important for a child to know that when the Bible speaks of the church, it typically means “followers of Christ.”

The second book of this fabulous duo is the Big Picture Interactive Bible Storybook. This book has an incredible new feature your child will love if you have a smartphone or tablet with scanning capability. You simply download the app and throughout the book, you can scan codes to enhance your reading experience. Watch your child light up as the book comes to life through video within the app! Here’s a video to explain more:

I wanted to help get the word out on this awesome resource because it sure would make a wonderful Christmas present! AND I’m so excited to be giving away one copy of this incredible new Interactive Bible Storybook with the new free downloadable app!

One little hint before you rush off to enter the giveaway or order the app: If you are giving this to your child as a gift, be sure to download the app and set it up in advance. It took me about four minutes to go through the tutorial and get it going and if you have a not-so-patient child, they may be distracted by the extra pause required right in the middle of a story. 🙂

Alright, Friends- enjoy! For “The Big Picture of What God Has Always Wanted”, click The Big Picture of What God Always Wanted (The Gospel Project) to order. And for the Big Picture Interactive Bible Storybook, click here to order.

I want to leave this giveaway open for 48 hours because I really believe in this project and my heart’s desire is for more parents to be equipped to share the Gospel with their children.
