Hey Friends! Monday is already here once again! Wow- the first month of the Bible Reading Challenge has passed and here we are- headed into February. If you remember, the last two weeks, we’ve used a special post on Mondays just to get us in tune with one another and use as the Bible reading challenge check in.

What reading methods are you finding to work for you? I’d love it if you’d share.

Be sure to leave a comment so we can keep each other accountable to stay in the Word and to keep one another encouraged! That’s the entire purpose of this separate posts- so celebrate your progress- no matter the amount of reading.

Can’t wait to hear how it’s going!

Rachel

  1. I’m behind in checking in but not in my reading 🙂 Praise The Lord! I’m using the Olive Tree Bible app. My reading plan is the M’Cheyene plan. I really love both the app and the plan!

  2. Doing great! Feeling great about!
On target, using YouVersion, with the M’Cheyne plan!!

    Still on track.

I am on target in my reading! I had some days of catching up, but I pressed on and completed.
My reminder to post comes late to my inbox. I am usually starting the night early, but as soon as I see the reminder in my inbox, I come and post.

  5. Hi All! Just plugging along. Follow the plan via your postings, Rachel on Pinterest. It’s worked so far to check on it when I finish a book to see where to go next. Thank you so much for all the other goodies you post as well

  6. Loving the Olive Tree M’Cheyenne reading system-makes it so much easier than any system I have tried in the past! On track so far…

  7. I’m on track this week, which just feels great! I’m using the youversion Bible on my kindle, and it sends me reminders for the daily Bible reading. I might not see the reminder until later in the day, but it’s a good way to stay on track 🙂

Hi can someone please explain the Bible challenge to me. I’ve been looking to see when it started and how to do it, but I can’t find any info on it.

    Thanks

  9. Unfortunately i am beginning to lag behind, and getting frustrated by the small hitches of time difference to when they get posted and im ready to read and now of the number challenge no longer lining up with the date…noticing some attitude creeping in…

  10. I am reading Grace for the Moment Daily Bilble with devotional writings by Max Lucado. Each day is separated by the topic of that days reading and it is so easy to follow and keep up with what I am focusing on at that time. “Seek first God’s kingdom and what God wants. Then all your other needs will be met as well. So don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will have its own worries. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:33-34

  11. Shelia Galloway says:

Olive Tree’s M’Cheyne daily reading is the one I use. It has kept me on track and I can always pick back up where i left off. I am excited to finally read the entire Bible in a year. It has helped me so much!!!

  12. One day ahead and am feeling so good about being in God’s Word more consistently! : )

  13. Olive Tree’s M’Cheyne Daily Reading is the one I use. I like it because it keeps track for me and I can start reading right where I left off. I am on track with my reading! Thanks for suggesting this plan!
